This spot was recommended by some dudes over at Clear Creek, and boy were they right! The appearance is very much local taqueria style but the food was delicious!
Stopped here on our way through town. There was only one other table and it took the one waitress forever to take our order. The food was thoroughly unimpressive, and the lemonade was overly sweet. I could see into the kitchen from our table, and noticed she was getting the chips for chips and salsa from a large bowl sitting just a few inches off the floor. Chips and salsa are not automatically given to your table like at most Mexican restaurants, and after seeing that, I was glad I didn't have any.
Food was good. Allowed dog on patio! Didn't care for the 'rice pudding'...Tacos were good, and tomales were good too!!!
Got the worst case of stomach issues from the soup!!! Gucomole was totally nasty!!!! We followed the star reviews and boy did we get duped. Ice cream bars were completely freezer burnt and so slimy and hard you couldn't even break off a piece. Never to return here.
