Great place. Clean showers. Warmer in the restroom. Fun to visit around.
Went camping in a tent--plots were flat, sturdy, & comfortable. The rangers were helpful. Decently clean bathrooms--keep an eye out for spiders!
Wonderful place. Great history of the Hopi people. Campground sites and restroom very clean and well spaced out. Winslow very close by.
Each camp site comes with a 'grill', picnic table, water spout, and parking space.
Lots of hiking options and unique wildlife.
Great campground, interesting Native American ruins, close to the beautiful Petrified Forest NP, ... Not sure how much fun it would be in the middle of summer or the dead of winter, but great on a spring or fall road trip. Don't miss it if you are in the area, and prefer nature to cable TV. The sunset, and, later, the Milky Way, were terrific last night.
Loved the park, but they really need to work on their visitation hours. First day we arrived, tried to swing by and check out some of the park but the park closes promptly at 5 so we weren't sold passes at 3 PM, which was kind of odd. Next morning we returned and loved it.
Roads can be a little bumpy, so be kind to your vehicles by driving slowly.
