We have always wanted to see the corner in Winslow, Arizona immortalized in the Eagles song, and were completely surprised and delighted with our discovery of the La Posada Hotel and it's wonderful restaurant, The Turquoise Room. Anyone traveling through this area is in for a real treat. We were en route to Santa Fe and did not have the time to stay overnight, but we will definitely be back. The hotel is one of the most unique and intriguing places we've ever seen, and both the food and service in the restaurant were too notch.

We enjoy the Turquoise room for lunch or dinner and enjoy sipping a martini outdoor while the trains go by and transport us to what it used to be. However the gift shop used to be much better with a greater variety of inventory at different price point.

We go to N.M. often and always stop at La Posada in Winslow at least 5 times a year ( the front desk never seems to have our information on file however ) Since the year 2000, we have seen improvements made every year. We have met the owners and a few of their dogs during the years. We have watched the renovation and were lucky enough to get a private tour with the owner and see how dilapidated the site was before the opening of the hotel.

The site is marvelous.......Great, great job !!!! A lovely place to rest at the end of the day well worth the price and 5 stars rating.

One of the neatest hotels I've stayed at in a long time. The beds and rooms are rustic, small and not the most comfortable. That said, the history behind the hostal/hotel is worth the visit.

Oh my gosh! What a gem! We absolutely LOVED this hotel! Unique. Charming. Our room was spacious and clean. I loved the decor. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful. We didn't have any traffic noises waking us up. I wish we had more time to take advantage of the outside sitting areas. The restaurant was outstanding! I wouldn't have eaten anywhere else. It was truly a pleasurable experience.

The gallery has some awesome paintings, and the shop has some great little gifts.

The art gallery was an unexpected surprise in the middle of the Arizona desert town. Location is great for photo staging opportunities. Also one of the last hotel/passenger train stops in America. So take the ticket!

First off, I wasn't a residing guest, I was stopping in for breakfast and what a find this place was. It extended our trip to Winslow and made it all the more enjoyable.

La Posada also allow dogs and all our dogs have enjoyed the grassy and park like feeling of the back yard. We enjoy checking the art from Mion but wished she would change it more often.

They have had several famous visitors.

Sadly we didn't get back for round two, but there breakfast was amazing.
