My wife and I were visiting the Winslow area and was looking for some good Mexican food. We saw the 4+ star rating for this establishment and decided to go try it. Our biggest complaint was with the waitress. It was obvious she was overworked and was asked to do more than she could. My wife made a few simple inquiries reference the menu and was treated poorly as if the questions were unreasonable. In the end the food came after and extended delay and we didn't get what we ordered. When we went to pay, there was no receipt provided to us.

Well where do I begin. If you want good Mexican food, don't go here. Each person I was with got something different and nothing was good. The carne asada was tuff/hard. The roast beef had the texture of shoe laces soaked in beef broth. To save time and a painful experience, just take the food you get, go the bathroom and drop it in the toilet. If you should choose to take your chances and eat your meal, you may want to get the following: tums, pepto, anti diarrhea medicine, baby wipes, new underwear.

Great burritos .Good food . Will definitely recommend to my fellow truck drivers .

Do yourself a favor and pass this establishment. La Posada has much higher quality food, better service and is more reasonably priced.

Traveling through here in '15, stayed at the Best Western, and ate there on a whim, and out of convenience. Well, it was the highlight of my entire 14 state journey. I ordered Chile Verde, and Chimichangas (I over ordered, didn't know if I'd ever be back, had to get my favorites). The service was impeccably welcoming, and as I recall, what appeared to be a group of women in their golden years prepared our meal, which again, was beyond description. Do not be deterred, if you are travelling through, or live in driving distance, I'd make this a destination meal. It was the best meal of my life, and the competition isn't particularly close. 10 stars.

My fiance is a long haul trucker and we parked in the dirt lot across the street for the night. Before we left for the day we wanted to get something to eat and this was pretty much the only place, and we were so happy we ended up here. The food was delicious and authentic. And the staff was very friendly. When we went in we were the only ones there but it quickly started filling up. With one waitress and one cool you'd might expect lower quality service, and while we did have to wait a bit to get our check, I didn't feel like the service was bad. The waitress made sure to acknowledge us everytime she passed our table and our food came quickly. She seemed to make sure all the customers were taken care of in a timely fashion. I would definitely eat here again if ever in the area.

The only thing we could figure was that the good ratings must be coming from friends and family.
