Amazing campsite, with tons to do and nice level spots. Great cell service, awesome sunsets, and spots right next to the water
The campsites were clean, and there were working bathrooms. The other campers around us were also polite. We enjoyed a nice morning chat over breakfast with two people who were also camping there.
Absolutely beautiful place. We pulled our 35ft Class A RV in no problem. The roads are new and there is a park host Paul. Very freindly. They are still working on water for the showers and bathrooms. Strong cool breeze and great paddleboarding! Each spot has a table and fire pit too!
The waterway is quite beautiful and very unique. The campground is sparsely trees and quite underwhelming. We planned to stay several days but the lack of shade and the strong winds left us packing up after one night.
It's OK, it's free so that is a bonus. But watch out for the plants with the prickers. There was really no good tent sites because of them. Keep your shoes on instead of sandals. The bathroom doors are left open so there are birds nesting inside. Kayaked into the canyon, it was nice but I wouldn't say it was spectacular.
